xMinds Committees

Communications Committee
All xMinds Communications are now handled by Russell Jowell, xMinds Administrative Assistant.
The Communications Committee produces all xMinds communications to our members, stakeholders, and the greater Montgomery County community.

Events Committee
The Events Committee organizes xMinds events including regular speaker events, social events, and assists the Executive Committee in planning and executing the annual xMinds in MCPS Forum.

Life Skills Committee
The Life Skills Committee organizes activities that help students on the autism spectrum develop skills for independence outside of school.
Co-Chairs: Sue Keisler & Dr. Jamell White, LCSW

MCPS Liaison Committee
The MCPS Liaison Committee advocates for solutions to systemic problems facing autistic students in MCPS and promotes teacher and staff understanding of autism.
Co-Chairs: Awo Ansu & Carolina Harp

Membership Committee
The Membership Committee maximizes xMinds membership and helps members find the resources they need.

Spanish Language Outreach Committee / Comité de Alcance del Idioma Español
The Spanish Language Outreach Committee seeks to increase the availability of xMinds resources in Spanish and to increase engagement of Spanish-speaking xMinds members.
