We take precautions to protect your information. When you submit sensitive information via the website, your information is protected both online and offline.

Whenever we collect personal information, that information is encrypted and transmitted to us in a secure way. You can verify this by looking for a lock icon at the beginning of the address of our Web page. As to sensitive financial information, we do not directly collect any financial information from you. That information is collected by PayPal or PNC Bank when you make a payment through our website.

While we use encryption to protect sensitive information transmitted online, we also protect your information offline. Only employees and volunteers who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g. sending a reminder of an upcoming event) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are password protected and kept in a secure environment.
